Sell outright or trade in?

A trade-in is convenient, but you get one offer and it is tied to the new purchase. Selling outright lets you see what the car is really worth, get paid in full, and put the money towards the new car or keep it.

Time it with your delivery

• Get a valuation as soon as you place your order
• Agree the sale for a date close to your new car's delivery
• Remove your old car from your Tesla account after the transfer
• Move any accessories, wall charger settings and key cards to the new car

Don't wait for the next price cut

New Tesla price changes pull used values down. If a new price drop lands between your order and your delivery, your old car can be worth less. Fixing your sale price early protects you.

Upgrading from a petrol car?
