Sell safely
Sell your car safely in Dubai, no strangers, no haggling
The safest way to sell a car in Dubai is to sell it to a licensed dealer that gives one firm written offer and pays you before you leave. With Carology there are no strangers calling your number, no test drives with people you do not know, no haggling and no payment risk: send the details on WhatsApp or the form, get a price range, bring the car to our Business Bay showroom for a short inspection, and if you accept the offer you are paid by bank transfer or cash the same visit while we complete the RTA transfer. No obligation, and your number is never shared.
- Paid in full before you leave. Bank transfer or cash on the spot. No "we'll transfer it next week".
- The price we agree is the price you get. Fair market offer up front, no last-minute haggling over small marks.
- Every spec welcome. GCC, American, Canadian, Japanese and European imports, financed or fully owned.

Why a private sale in Dubai feels unsafe
Selling privately means putting your phone number on a classifieds site and dealing with whoever calls. Sellers tell us the same stories: strangers asking to test drive at night, buyers who turn up with a friend and start picking the car apart to push the price down, people who agree a price and then offer less with cash in hand, and bank transfers that never arrive. Many sellers, women especially, simply do not want to meet unknown buyers alone, and they should not have to.
How selling to Carology removes each risk
- No strangers: you only deal with the Carology team, in a licensed showroom in Business Bay, during business hours
- No test drives with unknown buyers: we inspect the car ourselves, on site, in about 15 minutes
- No haggling: you get one firm offer with no hidden deductions, and the price we agree is the price you get
- No payment risk: you are paid by bank transfer or cash before you leave, not "next week"
- No RTA visit: we complete the ownership transfer, and any fines or loan are settled from the price
- No pressure: the valuation is free and there is no obligation to sell
What a fair offer looks like, so you can spot a lowball
A fair offer is based on what the same model, year, mileage and spec is selling for in the UAE right now, minus a dealer margin, and it should be explained to you. Red flags are an offer that drops sharply after a quick look, deductions that were not mentioned upfront, or a buyer who refuses to put the number in writing. Ask for the price range on WhatsApp before you drive anywhere: that is the number we hold ourselves to at the inspection, unless the car is different from what was described.
If you would rather not sell outright, consignment is the other safe option: we sell the car for you from our showroom, you are never involved with buyers, and there is no fee unless it sells.
Selling safely when you are leaving the UAE or the car is financed
Both are handled in the same visit. For a financed car we request the liability letter from your bank, settle the loan directly and pay you the difference. If you are leaving the country, we complete the transfer before you fly, and if you are already abroad you can still sell with UAE Pass and a short call with our team.

Questions sellers ask
It can be, but you are dealing with strangers, test drives and payment risk yourself. Selling to a licensed dealer like Carology removes all three: one firm offer, inspection in our showroom, paid before you leave.
