UAE Petrol Prices November 2026: Will Fuel Go Up or Down?
UAE petrol prices for November 2026 will be announced on 31 October. Early signs point to flat or slightly lower prices: Brent crude is trading around USD 100 to 102 a barrel in early October, below September's peak near USD 110 that drove October's 16% rise. If oil stays near USD 100 for the rest of October, Special 95 could ease a little from AED 4.28. If tension in the Strait of Hormuz pushes Brent back above USD 110, expect another rise. This is an outlook, not an official figure, and we update this page when prices are announced.
How UAE fuel prices are set
The UAE Fuel Price Committee announces the next month's prices on the last day of each month. Prices follow the average global oil price over the previous month, so October's oil prices largely decide November's pump prices.
What oil is doing in October 2026
- Brent is trading around USD 100 to 102 a barrel in the first week of October, down from close to USD 110 in September
- Supply is recovering: Saudi Arabia has restored its East-West pipeline and Gulf crude shipments are reported back near pre-war levels
- G7 countries agreed to release 100 million barrels from emergency reserves
- OPEC+ kept production targets unchanged for November
- Risks remain: renewed tanker attacks in the Strait of Hormuz and missile strikes in the region keep prices volatile
Three scenarios for November
- Most likely, flat to slightly lower: if Brent averages around USD 100 in October, Special 95 could ease a little from AED 4.28
- Bigger drop: if Hormuz shipping normalises and Brent slides toward USD 90, a more noticeable cut is possible
- Another rise: if attacks escalate and Brent goes back above USD 110 for much of October, prices could climb again
These are our reading of the market, not official forecasts. Oil can move several dollars in a day on regional news.
How far prices have moved in 2026
- February: Special 95 at AED 2.33, the low point of the year
- April: AED 3.28, the first big jump after the conflict began
- June: AED 3.83
- July: AED 3.29, a temporary dip
- September: AED 3.69
- October: AED 4.28, up about 84% on February
What it means if you are buying a car
Even if November brings a small cut, fuel is likely to stay well above early-2026 levels for months while global inventories rebuild. If you are choosing a car now, fuel economy is worth weighing as much as price. For a driver covering 2,500 km a month, a compact sedan costs around AED 700 a month to fuel at today's prices, against more than AED 1,600 for a large V8 SUV.
